I’ve been consistently in possession of a leather jacket since I got my first one at 14 from H&M, and it has never ever let me down, nor it ever well. LY leather jacket xox
When I was working in Zara I noticed how a car coat/masculine coat can make an outfit look very put together. Wear it with pistol boots, wear it with trainers, wear it with slippers around the house and rejoice in your wonderful jacket.
The Trench Coat is probably the most versatile of all, which can take you from day to night, work to bar no problem. If you, like me, can only dream about owning a Burberry, Zara do lovely dupes.
The slightly oversize black blazer has been made iconic by Kate Moss, but for spring it’s nice to mix it up a little by playing with colour, like this pretty one from Mango.
Totally impractical, won’t keep you warm or dry, pockets are virtually useless. But the denim jacket isn’t going away and I’m very glad. They have been cropped, oversized and bleached, but this season embellished or embroidered is they way to go.
